All sorts of people hear voices and in different cultures, settings and circumstances. In fact, people just like you and me are prone to these experiences at various points in our lives.
Sometimes these voices are helpful and benevolent or guiding. Other times less so. Everyone´s experience is unique to them. This is what makes it so interesting, the diversity of lived experience.
And it is how we understand and cope with these experiences that determines our outcomes. Do we flourish or do we struggle?
Meantime, let's look at some individuals who have had these experiences.
Would we say that these figures are schizophrenic individuals or people who had profoundly affecting experiences?
Voice hearers don't always go on to bring massive changes to the world but clearly....there are some that do!
