Can't sleep? Won't sleep?
It can be exhausting trying to fall asleep. Damn hard work. Too many thoughts. Too many voices.
That's why I carefully made this selection.
When we listen to music, even in the best of times, it can help us focus, distract us from our preoccupations and over thinking minds. We can become absorbed in something different.
Look at the crowds who enjoy a musical performance! They get totally immersed in the present moment and all else can be, even briefly, forgotten. Left behind. That's the idea here.
One of the reasons that we sometimes played music in the hearing voices groups. It was something we could pay attention to and sink within and it gave the overly active mind another point of subconscious focus.
